Po úspěšném debutu se písničkářka a skladatelka NIKA vrací s novým albem Elsewhere, které představuje vyzrálý autorský rukopis a odvážné hudební experimenty. In a unique fusion of jazz, pop, funk, folk and alternative music, she opens the door to a deeply personal world where introspective reflections blend with criticism of society.
Elsewhere was three years in the making, and each of its eleven tracks tells a story, an emotionally charged moment, or an inner dilemma that resonates in today's uncertain times. NIKA is authentic and uninhibited in opening up to themes hidden beneath the surface - feelings of inner struggles, the search for self-worth, and finding peace within after a storm. Melancholy alternates with anger, disappointment with hope - the whole album feels like catharsis.
